Five Basic Elements that Universe is made of.

The whole universe is made up of five basic elements - the earth, water, fire, air and space(sky). Different cultures have categorized these basic energies in different ways. In Chinese tradition, the elements have been considered as Earth, Water, Fire, Wood and Metal. In India, the Hindu texts state that the World is made of five elements (PanchaTatva): Earth (Bhoomi), Water(Nir/Jal), Air(Vayu), Fire(Agni) and Sky (Aakash/Gagan). In fact the most sacred word “Bhagwan” is the wisdom encapsulated in the five syllables of the word Bhagawan (Bha-bhoomi, Ga-gagan, Va-vayu, Aa-agni, and Na-nir) is what the Panchatatva or the five elements is all about. Our body is also made up of these five basic elements of nature. The panchatatvas are related to our five senses of smell, taste, hearing, touch and sight. Sky is related to sound , Water is related to taste, Air to touch, Fire to sight and Earth to smell .

	Sin nombreescribió: Hi, I saw some old posts of yours around the internet where you ask about eating spinach in green smoothies. You mention you had some minor problems with kidney stones and that you thought adding lemon would protect you from the oxalates in spinach. I am right now going through the very same questions about green smoothies and kidney stones. My doctor says I have the beginnings of kidney stones. I´ve been wanting to make green smoothies a big part of my new mostly vegan diet, but now I´m not sure I can, because some people say that chard and spinach and some other dark greens are high in oxalates that may cause kidney stones. I´m currently in Uruguay in South America, but if I were back in the U.S., where I come from, I might be able to use kale, since some people say that kale is low oxalate. Anyway, I´ve gathered a few things in my study of this question, and I´m wondering what you might have found out in your studies. What I´ve found out is that drinking a lot of water, particularly water with lemon juice, provides protection against stone formation. Other than that, I´ve found that there is a fair amount of contradictory information about just which foods are high oxalate and which are low oxalate. Some say kale is low oxalate, but some say high. I think the beginnings of stones in my case might have come from my eating large amounts of spinach and chard in recent months. But it might instead be the result of my having eating a lot of chicken and meat during the course of my life in the past. What have you discovered about all this? Back when you wrote your comments on this, you seem to have been in a very similar position. Are you still drinking green smoothies? Are you on a raw vegan diet? Have you had any further problems with stones? Sorry to ask so many questions. I´m hoping for some of your knowledge and experience about this whole question. I´ve been disappointed that I apparently can´t really have dark green smoothies because I have to worry about kidney stones. It´s true that some experts say it´s not really a worry if you are on a healthy raw diet, but other experts seem to say it is a worry. Anyway, I´m wondering what you concluded about all this.
